SOFTVision Concepts, USA continues to provides front-end software design and back-end solutions for Internet/Web-based, Intranet or Extranet application systems. Our approach is based on visual information architecture that coordinates application features with usability factors.
Headquartered in Houston, TX since our birth as a team in 1986, with clients across the United States, we worked with the then message based internet building mail-tossers between FIDONet, GTPowerNet and RBBS Net. These were all Bulliten Board related Nets that were connected internationally by "modems" ( You had to call in at 300bd via modem then. ). We finally domained in 1996.
SOFTVision grew up with a lot of the items that make the web popular. Lattice C, Borland C/C++, Perl/CGI (flat database contained) applications PHP, mySQL, Flash, Javascript, Java to name a few and enjoyed being listed on sites like Netscape and Liveupdate. If you travel to the USA Today Website and look under site of the day, two of our productions are listed and were writen up in the Tech section.
We work with Fortune 500's as well as the little man. SOFTVision has donated webspace and production for several or more sites.
